Responsibilities

 

The Senior Field Examiner will lead and independently complete Initial and Recurring field examinations for Commercial, Business Bankingand Asset Based loans. Responsibilities include in depth analysis of onsite collateral examinations to include a review of accounts receivable, inventory, accounts payable, cash, financial statements, liabilities,taxesand systems capabilities for the purpose of evaluating overall credit worthiness.
Salary Range
The salary range for this position is $60,000/yr - $121,300/yr plus bonus. The base salary indicated for this position reflects the compensation range applicable to all levels of the role across the United States. Actual salary offers within this range may vary based on a number of factors, including the specific responsibilities of the position, the candidate's relevant skills and professional experience, educational qualifications, and geographic location.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct field examinations either independently or as the lead examiner of current and prospective asset based and commercial bank clientsin accordance withstandard auditing procedures todeterminetheir financial condition and collateral values.
Construct field examination reports and supporting findings to highlight material variances that wereidentified, drawconclusionsand provide recommendations for improvement.
Evaluatecustomers'borrowing based certificates to ensure compliance with Bank requirements.
Investigate and examinecustomers'accounting procedures and systems to ensure that they conform to acceptable bank standards and toidentifypotential collateral risk and exposure.
Assesscustomer'sfinancial condition by reviewing internal reports, bankstatementsand related financial documents.
Assistwith the review of field examinations completed by outsourcedvendorsor contractors to ensure that the Bank's audit standards are uniformly met.
Assistin training with new field examiners.

Key Competencies:
Potential candidate must bepossesa strong ability to interpret complex financial statements,ledgers, and collateral records. An aptitude forspotting discrepancies, assessingriskandidentifyingpotential fraud ornon-compliance. Finally, this individual must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word as well as otherindustry specificauditing or database platforms.

Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
Sevenyears of Commercial Field Examination and Asset Based Loan experience.
Excellent written,verbaland interpersonal skills.
Ability to exercise prudent judgement to make independent decisions affecting customers and the Bank.
Strong organization and multi-tasking skills in a high stress, fast-paced environment.
