Job Description
Diagnose, inspect, and repair automobiles and light trucks. Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tune-ups, and brake repairs. Test vehicles and components using diagnostic equipment to identify mechanical and electrical issues. Repair or replace defective parts including engines, transmissions, fuel systems, and electrical components. Align and adjust vehicle systems such as steering, suspension, and brakes to meet manufacturer specifications. Disassemble and reassemble mechanical components as needed. Review work orders, estimate repair costs, and communicate with supervisors and customers regarding vehicle conditions and required repairs. Maintain tools and ensure a clean and safe work environment.
