Job Description
Join a respected, high-acuity cardiovascular team providing inpatient cardiology care at a large regional medical center. This opportunity offers a predictable weekday schedule, collaborative physician and APP support, and the chance to practice in a dynamic hospital environment utilizing Epic EMR.
The ideal candidate is a clinically confident Nurse Practitioner with recent inpatient experience who enjoys working closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional cardiovascular care. Providers will manage and round on a diverse adult patient population while supporting continuity of care and discharge planning.
Position Highlights

Responsibilities
+ Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations
+ Perform inpatient rounding and ongoing management of cardiovascular patients
+ Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic studies
+ Develop and implement treatment plans
+ Prescribe medications and therapies within scope of practice
+ Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
+ Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care
+ Document patient encounters accurately within the EMR
Minimum Requirements
+ Current Nurse Practitioner certification and state licensure
+ Certification through a nationally recognized accrediting body (AANP, ANCC, or equivalent)
+ Specialty certification as required by client or state regulation
+ Minimum of one year of NP experience preferred
+ Current CPR/BLS certification if applicable
+ Ability to meet all client credentialing requirements
+ Must meet all applicable federal, state, and local requirements
+ Must be at least 18 years of age
Preferred Qualifications
+ Prior inpatient cardiology experience
+ Experience working in acute care or high-acuity hospital settings
+ Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills
+ Experience with Epic EMR
+ Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
