Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: $110,198 per year to $125,000.00

Applix Inc. is seeking an innovative and highly motivated Programmer (AI Engineer) to join our growing technology team. The successful candidate will develop cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence solutions, enterprise automation platforms, and mobile applications utilizing the latest advancements in Large Language Models and cloud technologies.

Position Summary

The Programmer (AI Engineer) will design, develop, implement, and maintain Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning solutions that improve business operations and enhance user experiences. The role involves developing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) applications, conversational AI systems, enterprise automation solutions, and mobile applications while collaborating with business stakeholders and technical teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy Artificial Intelligence-powered Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) chatbot applications utilizing Large Language Models, including GPT, Llama, and Cohere, along with OpenAI and GROQ APIs.
• Develop enterprise search and knowledge management solutions using LangChain, LangGraph, and LangSmith.
• Leverage Large Language Models and Artificial Intelligence APIs to improve access to enterprise information and automate business processes.
• Design and deploy Microsoft Copilot Studio agents utilizing Microsoft Power Platform technologies, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and AI Builder.
• Develop cross-platform mobile applications using React Native.
• Create Python-based APIs to integrate Internet of Things (IoT) devices and enterprise systems.
• Integrate sensor data into business applications for monitoring and reporting purposes.
• Develop Power Apps and automated workflows to generate reports and improve operational efficiency.
• Implement role-based authentication utilizing Azure Active Directory.
• Collaborate with business users, project managers, and technical teams to design, test, deploy, and support software solutions.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in: Artificial Intelligence; Machine Learning; Computer Science; Data Science; Computer Engineering, or related.
• 2 yrs experience to include AI Engineer, Software Engineer, Computer Programmer, Data Scientist, Applied Scientist, or in a closely related occupation.
• The 2-yrs exp. must include designing, developing, and deploying artificial intelligence and machine learning-based software applications, including large language models, retrieval-augmented generation systems, and API-driven services, using Python and related frameworks.
• Employer will accept a foreign equivalent degree as determined by a qualified credential evaluation service.

Travel

Travel and/or relocation to various unanticipated client worksites throughout the United States may be required. All employer-required travel expenses will be paid. International travel is not required. Telecommuting from any location within the United States may be permitted depending on project needs.
