Location:  Spring Grove, IL
$28.00 - $30.00 per hour
Shift: 1st Shift | Monday - Friday | 6:30 AM - 3 PM

Education Requirements
High school diploma or GED required.
Technical training in industrial maintenance, electronics, or a related field is a plus
Experience Requirements
3-5 years of experience in electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance
Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Proficiency with troubleshooting industrial equipment, motors, controllers, and automation systems
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
Clean driving record required
Job Duties
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic production equipment
Perform preventive maintenance and document maintenance activities in computerized systems
Install, start up, and shut down equipment while following OSHA and company safety standards
Interpret blueprints, sketches, specifications, and technical data to diagnose equipment issues
Create and modify preventive maintenance procedures and logs
Maintain spare parts inventory and coordinate repairs with outside contractors
Identify opportunities to improve tooling, equipment performance, cleanliness, and production efficiency
Perform minor facility maintenance and support manufacturing operations as needed
Work closely with operators and production personnel to resolve equipment issues quickly and safely
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in manufacturing, industrial maintenance, facilities maintenance, or a related technical environment is preferred.
Experience performing preventative maintenance programs and responding to equipment breakdowns is beneficial.
Knowledge of PLCs, electrical controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, or fabrication is considered an asset.
Individuals who demonstrate strong troubleshooting abilities, teamwork, and a commitment to continuous improvement are well positioned for success as a Maintenance Technician.
Physical Capabilities
Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel, and work in a variety of industrial environments throughout the shift.
Ability to lift equipment, tools, and replacement parts weighing up to 100 pounds.
Safety glasses and steel-toed shoes required
Ability to safely work around moving machinery while following established safety procedures.
Manual dexterity to operate tools, perform repairs, and inspect equipment.
