Job title: Account Manager

Duties: Generate, agree, and implement a strategic business plan that is aligned with the overall customer strategic plan. Act as primary selling interface at customers’ headquarters calling on key decision makers. Sell new and expanded distribution of Kerrygold items and identify opportunities to grow volume/increase market share. Provide Sales leaders with account intelligence and recommendations for effective planning and programming. Develop and implement Publix and Meijer specific marketing and promotional programs. Achieve planned objectives on sales and spending in key customers and conduct post promotion analysis. Manage day-to-day relationships with Retailers and provide effective communication between relevant Ornua and Retailer teams. Manage day-to-day relationships with our Broker and Distribution partners. Champion multi-functional resources to successfully implement brand / category strategies. Improve and enhance customer experience and service. Telecommuting permitted within the Chicago metropolitan area. Domestic travel required approximately 10% of the time. Multiple, full-time openings.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Marketing, or a closely related field and 3 years of experience in the position offered or related. Must have 3 years of experience with: developing and fostering collaborative relationships with key distribution stakeholders and implementing strategic sales or supplier account operating plans; analyzing commercial dairy market data to identify drivers of performance or upcoming supply and demand trends; leading sell-in of new products, pack sizes, displays, and strategic initiatives; applying knowledge of market and industry trends, competitors, and leading customer strategies with given retailer, distributor, or supplier accounts; and applying supply chain knowledge in the food and dairy industry to forecast sales and monitor inventory levels of products of the retailers or customers to ensure sufficient inventory at all times. Salary: $100,000 - $120,000/year.
