Reporting to the Director, Donor Relations & Stewardship, the Associate Director, Stewardship will contribute to a comprehensive stewardship program to help cultivate, recognize and steward Kellogg alumni and friends. This position will play an integral role on the Kellogg Advancement team to help the school to continue to cultivate and steward its alumni and friend’s constituency. The Associate Director ensures all significant donors are being stewarded in an appropriate and timely manner.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Manages and leads the reporting of all endowed and expendable funds for donor stewardship. Works with faculty and other areas to secure content needed. Collaborates with admissions/financial aid and finance to support the scholarship work. 
  • Fund management: Strengthen process in the creation of new funds and documenting information to support reporting and research on older funds.
  • Donor Recognition: Responsible for donor recognition and managing all aspects of this important work. Projects include the review of gift agreements, developing and maintaining honor rolls and donor walls, and oversight of plaques/named space recognition. Ensure that donors are being recognized per their preferences. Leads partnership with the Assistant Director of Donor Relations on donor outreach, rendering requests, etc.
  • Coordinates and supports communications to donor families for Investiture Ceremonies and collaborate with Faculty Affairs who leads the events.
  • Develop appropriate infrastructures, systems and materials as required
