A healthcare-focused consulting client of Insight Global is seeking a QA Engineer to join their team. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications through a combination of manual and automated testing efforts. Working within an Agile environment, the QA Engineer will partner closely with developers, product managers, and business stakeholders to review requirements, define test strategies, and create detailed test plans and test cases. This person will execute functional, regression, and automated testing to validate application performance and ensure releases are delivered on time with a high level of quality.

In this role, the QA Engineer will design and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Protractor, or Cypress, identify and document defects, and collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution of issues. They will also help identify release risks, escalate concerns when necessary, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts by recommending testing tools, frameworks, and best practices. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, adaptable to changing technical environments, and passionate about delivering quality software while driving efficiency through automation.

This is a remote opportunity with a collaborative and fast-paced team environment. The pay rate for this role will vary depending on experience, location, and skillset between 27-36 LAKH. This is a contract position with potential for extension and/or conversion. If interested, please apply!

Skills and Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)

- 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance (QA) with both manual and automated testing

- Experience working in Agile development environments

- Hands-on experience developing and executing automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Protractor, or Cypress

- Strong knowledge of test planning, test case creation, defect tracking, and regression testing

- Experience reviewing requirements, technical specifications, and design documentation to ensure test coverage

- Ability to analyze test results, identify risks, and collaborate with development teams to drive bug resolution

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills – Healthcare industry experience

- Basic understanding of performance testing methodologies

- Knowledge of web-based application architecture

- Experience working with SQL for testing and validation

- Familiarity with AWS cloud technologies
