Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) for a unique part-time school-based opportunity in Aurora, IL . This role offers flexibility and the chance to make a meaningful impact on a student’s mobility, strength, and independence.
?? Position Details
? Part-Time Physical Therapist
? School-Based Assignment
? Flexible scheduling during school days
? Only 2 hours per week (1 hour direct service + 1 hour prep/documentation)
? Fast feedback process (within 48 hours)
? Caseload Information
- Provide 1 hour of direct PT services per week
- Additional 1 hour of prep/documentation time per week
- Support a student with:
+ Improving core strength
+ Navigating and utilizing a power wheelchair – Individualized 1:1 support
? Qualifications
- Current Physical Therapist license in the state of practice
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
- School-based or pediatric experience preferred
- One year of professional PT experience preferred
- Must meet all state, federal, and local requirements

Minimum Requirements:
+ Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of practice
+ Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy
+ One (1) year of prior professional Physical Therapy experience preferred
+ Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
+ Current CPR if applicable
+ TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
+ Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
+ Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
+ Must be at least 18 years of age
