Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a dedicated School Social Worker to support students at an elementary school in Barrington, Illinois. This is a rewarding opportunity to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to help students achieve academic and social success.

Position Highlights

? In-person assignment at an elementary school (approximately 250 students)

? Work with students requiring social work intervention and support services

? Collaborate on IHP/IEP development and implementation

? Preferred in-person client interview

Minimum Requirements

? Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Worker (SSW) endorsement

? MSW or LCSW may be required based on state or facility requirements

? Compliance with all professional standards of practice

? Current CPR certification if applicable

? Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

? Minimum age of 18 years

Minimum Requirements:

+ Holds a Professional Educator License with School Social Worker (SSW) endorsement as required by state, contract and/or facility

+ May be required to have MSW or LCSW per state, contract or facility

+ Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice

+ Current CPR if applicable

+ TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

+ Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

+ Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

+ Must be at least 18 years of age
