We’re hiring 3 Special Education Teachers for school-based opportunities in Calumet City, IL !

?? Openings Available

+ Self-Contained Elementary (Grades 3-5) with para support and a small caseload

+ Elementary Resource Teacher supporting students across two nearby schools

+ Middle School Resource Teacher working with 6th-grade students

? Position Highlights

+ 32.5 hours per week

? Requirements

+ Illinois Special Education License/LBS1 preferred

+ Prior school-based experience preferred

+ Must meet all state and federal requirements

Minimum Requirements:

+ Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university preferred

+ Valid state teaching certificate as required by state, contract/district regulations

+ Minimum of one year experience in teaching environment preferred

+ State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard Elementary Teaching preferred

+ State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard Secondary Teaching preferred

+ State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard Special Teaching preferred

+ Endorsement: Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) preferred

+ Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice

+ Current CPR if applicable

+ TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

+ Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

+ Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

+ Must be at least 18 years of age
