Job Description

Overview:

Join the Entertainment team as a Usher! Ushers are resonsible for greeting guests as they enter the venue, ensure that safety procedures are being followed, and assisting with the upkeep of the venue. This is a seasonal position for our Fright Fest operation and you must be at least 16 years of age to apply

Responsibilities:

+ Assist all guests into and out of the theatre

+ Navigatge around in dark restrictive backstage and house areas

+ Answer questions regrding general park information

+ Ensure general housekeeping for the venue, cleaning both inside and outside the venu

+ Must be able to work multiple venues as needed

+ Stand and count guests as they enter accurately

+ Ensure safe and efficient venue operation

+ Wear and properly maintain any park issued costume including the wearing of park approved shoes and black dress pants that you will provide

+ Adhere to and enforce all park policies and procedures as outlined in the seasonal handbook and the department standard operating procedures manual

+ Immediately report any unsafe acts to the unit stage manager

+ Train new personnelas needed

Qualifications:

+ Minimum age: 16

+ Shifts are dependent on the production needs

+ Must be able to stand for the length of shift

+ Must be able to lift up to 25lbs

+ Must be willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions

+ Must be professional, self-motivated the ability to multi-task and have an enthusiastic attitude

+ Must have strong teamwork skills and the ability to work with others

+ All other duties as assigned or necessary to support the park as a whole
