Opportunity Summary: The Assembly Supervisor is responsible for leading the Assembly process which includes working both on the plant floor and in an office setting. The position monitors ongoing production task, production quantities and efficiencies, quality, safety and assures paperwork and computer entry is accurate
This is a 2nd shift position (3 pm – 11 pm).
How you will impact Smurfit Westrock:
- Maintain production line efficiency, quality, cleanliness and safety.
- Maintain all appropriate paperwork.
- Provide training for all employees.
- Conducts plant safety meetings.
- Maintain compliance with all safety rules/regulations in order to ensure a safe working environment.
- Ensures adherence to Federal Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Evaluate employee performance.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts.
- Be able to handle all aspects in employee relations.
What you need to succeed:
- Must Have High School Diploma or GED
- Prior supervisory experience
- Must be able to read a tape measure and math skills.
- Must be able to clearly communicate with employees and management
- Intermediate computer skills: Email, Excel, Word, and relative corrugated industry specific software experience. Examples: Amtech, Harry Rhodes, Kiwi
- Ability to clearly communicate to other team members and supervisors in a bilingual English/Spanish environment.

- Adhere to safety guidelines as set by management
