What You’ll Do

As a Batch Mixer, you will play a critical role in the production process by accurately preparing and mixing chemical batches while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.

Daily Responsibilities

Attend daily safety meetings and follow all safety procedures

Review batch sheets and production instructions

Weigh, measure, and formulate chemical batches according to specifications

Safely handle liquid and powdered raw materials from drums, totes, and bags

Load materials into reactors following proper mixing sequences

Operate and monitor production equipment including:

Reactors

Pumps

Mixers

Milling Machines

HMI & Touchscreen Control Systems

Monitor gauges, controls, and process parameters

Keep accurate batch records and production documentation

Ensure quality and consistency for batches up to 4,000 gallons

Communicate production updates between shifts

Assist with staging, packaging, and order preparation

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace

Support production goals while working closely with supervisors and team members

What We’re Looking For

Essential Qualifications

3+ Years of Manufacturing Experience

3+ Years of Batch Mixing, Blending, Formulating, or Chemical Operating Experience

Experience Following Detailed SOPs and Batch Sheets

Strong Attention to Detail

Experience Measuring and Weighing Raw Materials

Ability to Work Safely Around Industrial Equipment

Familiarity with HMI, Touchscreen, and Control Systems

Strong Communication and Teamwork Skills

Commitment to Workplace Safety and Quality Standards

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Alsip, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 – $24.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
