AEM Content Author / Digital Content Specialist

Overview of the Role

Our client is seeking a Digital Content Specialist with hands-on experience authoring and managing web content in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). This role will support the creation and maintenance of interactive digital marketing materials while partnering closely with creative, marketing, and content teams.The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of website production, experience working from Figma designs, and the ability to troubleshoot HTML/CSS issues. Experience with Veeva, PromoMats, or pharmaceutical marketing environments is a plus but not required.

  • Duration: 12 months
  • Schedule: 40 hours per week
  • Location: Remote, but candidates have to be local to Chicago/Mettawa area to be onsite 1-2 times per quarter

Required Qualifications

  • Experience authoring and managing content within Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
  • Experience working from Figma design files
  • Strong understanding of how websites are built, maintained, and updated
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS with the ability to troubleshoot content issues
  • Experience publishing, updating, and maintaining digital content
  • Strong attention to detail and quality assurance skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with Veeva platforms (Preferred)
  • Experience using PromoMats (Preferred)
  • Adobe XD experience (Preferred)
  • Workfront experience (Preferred)
  • Experience supporting healthcare, pharmaceutical, or other regulated industries (Preferred)
  • Agency or digital production experience (Preferred)

Key Responsibilities

  • Author, update, and maintain digital content in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
  • Build interactive content and web experiences from Figma designs and approved creative assets
  • Troubleshoot and resolve basic HTML/CSS issues
  • Ensure content accuracy, functionality, and adherence to brand standards
  • Collaborate with marketing, creative, and agency partners throughout content production
  • Support content review, approval, and publishing workflows
  • Help maintain reusable content templates, components, and best practices
  • Assist in identifying opportunities to improve content processes and user experience
  • Support digital marketing initiatives within a regulated environment

In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data, including medical data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment. Additionally, drug products may be present in the workplace.
