Master Planner and Scheduler

Job Description

1. Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) based on forecast, customer orders, and inventory targets
2. Convert demand plans into feasible production schedules considering capacity, labor, and material constraints
3. Sequence and schedule production orders to optimize efficiency, throughput, and on-time delivery
4. Monitor schedule adherence and take corrective actions when deviations occur
5. Collaborate with Sales and Demand Planning Team to review forecasts and order priorities
6. Coordinate with Procurement Team to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components
7. Work with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality Teams to address production constraints and changes
8. Maintain accurate planning data in ERP/MRP systems
9. Support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in S&OP / IBP processes
10. Responsible for Inventory Management by identifying excessive, obsolete, and/or slow-moving inventory
11. Lead the MPS Team by providing task lists and evaluating job performance
