Insight Global is seeking a Manager, AI-Native Quality Engineering for a top technology client. This candidate will serve as a player-coach, leading a team of quality engineers while remaining hands-on with automation strategy, framework improvements, and AI-powered testing initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership experience, deep test automation expertise, and a passion for leveraging AI to improve software quality, increase automation coverage, optimize regression testing, and strengthen release confidence. This individual will partner closely with Engineering, Product, DevOps, and Release teams to build scalable, AI-native quality practices that enable faster, more reliable software delivery

Day-to-Day:

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Quality Engineers, Automation Engineers, and Testers

Drive AI-powered test automation initiatives across API, UI, Integration, and E2E testing

Evaluate and implement AI tools to improve test generation, execution, maintenance, and defect analysis

Improve regression testing strategies through AI and automation

Partner closely with Engineering, Product, DevOps, and Release teams to improve software quality

Establish AI governance standards and quality engineering best practices

Track automation effectiveness, release readiness, defect trends, and quality metrics

Support release management activities, risk assessments, and go/no-go recommendations

Remain hands-on with automation frameworks and AI-assisted testing solutions

Skills and Requirements

7+ years of Software QA, Quality Engineering, or Test Automation experience

2+ years of people management or team leadership experience

Strong hands-on automation testing experience across API, UI, Integration, and End-to-End testing

Experience building, maintaining, and scaling test automation frameworks

Experience leveraging AI tools to improve testing, automation, and quality engineering processes

Experience with AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT, or Azure OpenAI

Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Agile environments

Experience leading and developing Quality Engineering teams

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Authorized to work in the U.S. SaaS or product-based software experience

Experience coaching teams through AI adoption and process transformation

Prompt engineering experience for testing and defect analysis workflows

Experience evaluating AI-generated test outputs for quality and accuracy

Experience working in AI-native or agentic development environments

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
