Job Description
ECHO Incorporated is an industry leader in developing and manufacturing high-performance, professional-grade outdoor power equipment. ECHO is expanding its Product Development team and is seeking Project Coordinators to support the successful development and launch of new products.
The Project Coordinator will work closely with Product Managers, Project Managers, and cross-functional departments to coordinate project schedules, deliverables, documentation, and new product launch activities.
Salary: $50,000–$65,000 based on experience and qualifications.
This is a hybrid position offering the flexibility to work from home and on-site at our Lake Zurich, IL facility.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the successful development and launch of assigned new product development projects.

Assist Project Managers with assigned projects and activities.

Create and maintain detailed project schedules and task lists using company templates and project management software.

Attend project meetings and document discussion notes, decisions, and action items.

Lead meetings for assigned projects as needed.

Track project tasks, deadlines, and past-due items to support timely completion.

Coordinate new product launch materials, including packaging, marketing collateral, sell sheets, and samples.

Work cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Regulatory, Marketing, Engineering, and other departments.

Set up new items in the company ERP system and verify item data accuracy with appropriate departments.

Assist with preparation of stage-gate documentation for presentation to senior management.

Maintain accurate, organized, and up-to-date project files and documentation throughout the product development process.

Serve as a point of contact for cross-departmental coordination and help ensure alignment on timelines, deliverables, and project dependencies.
Qualifications:

1–2 years of experience in Project Management, Marketing, Product Development, Engineering, Sales, or a related area.

Bachelor's degree in a business-related field, Operations, Engineering, or related discipline.

Familiarity with project management software, methodologies, and best practices.

Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and follow-through.

Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple departments and manage competing priorities.

Experience with the development and manufacturing of physical products is highly preferred.
