Digital Asset Specialist

at Creative Circle, LLC in Bolingbrook, Illinois, United States

Job Description

Our client is seeking a highly organized and technically savvy Digital Asset Specialist to support a high-volume creative production environment. This role serves as a critical link between photography production, retouching, and digital asset management teams, ensuring image files move seamlessly through every stage of the post-production process. Candidates must be able to work onsite in Bolingbrook, IL in a hybrid capacity (2-3 days/week onsite, remaining days work from home). This is a 12-month assignment.

The ideal candidate has experience working with large volumes of digital assets, understands image file formats and technical specifications, and is passionate about keeping creative workflows organized and efficient. This is not a photography or creative development role. Instead, it is an operational support position focused on asset management, image processing workflows, metadata management, and digital file organization.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and organize large volumes of image assets from photoshoots
- Coordinate asset movement between photography, retouching, and production teams
- Apply metadata, maintain file structures, and ensure asset organization standards are followed
- Upload, route, and track assets through review and approval workflows
- Perform quality checks on file formats, image sizing, color profiles, and naming conventions
- Support DAM, cloud storage, and other asset management platforms
- Archive and maintain approved assets for easy retrieval and distribution

Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in digital asset management, creative operations, photo production, or similar environments
- Experience working with DAM platforms and large-scale digital asset libraries
- Strong understanding of image file types, metadata, color profiles, and production workflows
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience in retail, eCommerce, or high-volume photo production environments preferred
- Familiarity with PIM and DAM systems is a plus

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys the operational and technical side of creative production and wants to play a key role supporting the delivery and organization of digital content.

In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
