Job Description
Our organization is seeking a vigilant and dedicated security professional to join our team as an armed or unarmed security officer. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, an ability to remain calm under pressure and the ability to remain alert and observant at all times. This position requires a commitment to ensuring the safety and security of our clients and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong team. Responsibilities- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises
- Patrol industrial and commercial premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates
- Answer alarms and investigate disturbances
- Monitor and report suspicious activities or persons
- Inspect and adjust security systems, equipment and machinery to ensure operational use and to detect evidence of tampering
- Call police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
- Write reports of daily activities and irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons or unusual occurrences
- Circulate within the facility and examine doors, windows, and gates to determine that they are secure
