Bakery Floor Lead – Manteno, IL

Our client, a leading food manufacturing organization, is seeking a Bakery Floor Lead to join their team. As a Bakery Floor Lead, you will be part of the production department supporting the bakery operations team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to safety and quality, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Bakery Floor Lead

Location: Manteno, IL

Pay Range: $24-$28 per/hr

Shift: 6am-2:30pm & 2pm-10:30pm (Mon-Fri)

What’s the Job?

+ Ensure all safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and company policies are strictly followed.

+ Conduct regular safety checks and proactively address potential hazards.

+ Assist in completing Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) documentation.

+ Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.

+ Partner with QA teams to verify that all products meet stringent food safety and quality standards.

What’s Needed?

+ High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in mechanical equipment preferred.

+ Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a production worker in food manufacturing or a similar environment.

+ Strong understanding of mechanical devices, troubleshooting skills, and ability to perform routine maintenance.

+ Bilingual skills are a plus.

+ Must have completed GMPs and company food safety programs training.
