Education Requirements
Associate degree in a technical field required
Bachelor's degree preferred
Experience Requirements
7+ years of mechanical assembly experience
Prior leadership experience in a prototype, engineering, or advanced manufacturing environment
Advanced CAD and mechanical troubleshooting experience
Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and automation systems
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
Strong knowledge of machining, materials, tolerances, and fabrication methods
Job Duties
Lead end-to-end assembly of prototype equipment and mechanical systems
Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and specifications
Modify, assemble, troubleshoot, and test complex mechanical assemblies
Work with sheet metal components, machining processes, and fabrication methods
Support automation, hydraulic, and pneumatic system integration
Assist with project estimating, labor planning, and cost control
Mentor and train technicians on assembly processes and best practices
Drive continuous improvement, quality standards, and workplace safety
Physical Capabilities
Ability to work with mechanical tools, machinery, and prototype equipment
Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching
Ability to lift and move components and materials as needed
Ability to work in a manufacturing and engineering environment
