Marucco, Stoddard, Ferenbach & Walsh provides this notice for the following full time job opportunity at the Illinois Department of Education’s offices located at 100 N. Street, Springfield, IL 62777: Data Analyst.

Job Duties:

• Write and execute SQL queries to retrieve data and generate standard and ad-hoc reports.
• Perform routine data validation, cleansing, and preparation to support data accuracy and consistency.
• Follow established data governance, security, and access control policies when handling sensitive data.
• Work with existing data warehouse and data mart structures to support data processing and reporting needs.
• Develop reports using SSRS or similar reporting tools.
• Support development of geospatial or location-based reports and visualizations using ArcGIS or similar tools, as needed.
• Apply established data privacy standards, including handling of FERPA-protected data.
• Ensure reports and outputs align with applicable accessibility standards (e.g., Section 508 / WCAG).
• Assist in translating business requirements into technical data solutions
• Apply established methods to de-identify or anonymize datasets for reporting and analysis.

Hybrid position; employee may work from home, and must report to the Springfield, IL client office three days per week.
