Maintenance Technician
Seeking a Maintenance Technician with experience in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting within a manufacturing environment. This role is
responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving production equipment to minimize downtime and support operations. This role is paying up to $40/hr.
Responsibilities
+ Perform preventive and reactive maintenance on production equipment
+ Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
+ Repair conveyors, gearboxes, mixers, chillers, ovens, and bagging equipment
+ Work with motors and electrical systems up to 480V
+ Assist with machine setups and changeovers
+ Perform welding and fabrication as needed
+ Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics

Work Environment
This position is located in a cold-storage manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate is a hands-on technician who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, solving mechanical and electrical issues, and supporting a fast-paced production environment. Success in this role requires a strong commitment to safety, quality, teamwork, and equipment reliability.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chicago, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 – $40.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
