Position: Machinist Location: Cary, Illinois

Coilcraft, Inc. is a privately held global manufacturer headquartered in Cary, Illinois, with a 75+ year reputation for engineering excellence. Our high-performance magnetic components are used in telecommunications, automotive, computing, broadband communications, and consumer electronics around the world. We’re looking for an Entry-Level CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 1-2 years of machining experience-or recent trade school or apprenticeship experience-to continue developing their skills while working alongside experienced machinists in a clean, modern manufacturing environment.
About the Role and Your Impact
+ Set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes
+ Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
+ Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring equipment
+ Make basic tool offsets and machine adjustments
+ Monitor machine performance and part quality
+ Maintain production and inspection records
+ Perform routine machine maintenance
+ Work with engineering, quality, and production teams
+ Follow company safety and quality standards
Who We’re Looking For
+ High school diploma or equivalent
+ 1-2 years of CNC machining experience preferred (trade school/apprenticeship accepted)
+ Ability to read blueprints
+ Experience with precision measuring tools
+ Strong mechanical aptitude
+ Attention to detail and strong work ethic
Preferred Skills
+ Experience with CNC mills or lathes
+ Basic G-Code knowledge
+ Machine setup and tool offset experience
+ Precision manufacturing experience
+ Lean Manufacturing knowledge
