Summary: Saf-T-Gard International, Inc, is a leading global supplier of industrial safety products and personal
protective equipment. Saf-T-Gard’s Voltgard Test Lab currently operates the largest independent
testing facility performing full service testing and recertification of insulating products. We have
opportunities for bright, energetic, hands-on individuals who have at least 2-5 years warehouse/
distribution/production experience and a desire to actively participate in our growing facility.
Essential Duties &
Responsibilities:
The positions are responsible for ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all received, inspected, tested
and shipped inventories. The candidates will count, weigh, pack, and process a wide variety of
incoming and outgoing materials and supplies according to company procedures. Upon completion
of company provided training, the candidates will inspect and test rubber insulating products. The
candidates will learn all skill levels within the assigned functional area and cross train outside the
assigned functional area.
Qualifications: Hands-on production/distribution experience including shipping, receiving and inventory
control
Must be detailed oriented, strive for perfection, have strong personal drive and initiative
Strong interpersonal skills and positive attitude
Very well organized work habits
Must be able to work extended hours and weekends if requested
Flexible working on alternate shifts if requested
Forklift certified preferred
Education and/or
Experience:
2-5 years warehouse/distribution/production experience preferred, High school/GED
Language Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
Mathematical Skills: Basic math skills
Reasoning Ability: Good judgment and problem-solving skills; ability to recognize process
improvement opportunities and make recommendations
Work Environment/
Physical Demands:
Warehouse/ Lift up to 75 lbs.
