Essential Responsibilities
- Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, and fiduciary tax returns.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
- Research tax issues and provide recommendations to clients and management.
- Assist with tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize savings opportunities.
- Analyze financial records and accounting data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Respond to tax notices and assist with audits, inquiries, and examinations by tax authorities.
- Prepare quarterly and annual tax projections.
- Maintain current knowledge of changes in tax laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather necessary financial information.
- Assist with month-end and year-end accounting procedures as needed.
