Job Description
The Knapheide Manufacturing Company has an immediate opening for 2nd and 3rd shift Electronic Electricians. We are seeking a self-motivated, fully qualified industrial electronics electrician who is knowledgeable in state-of-the-art fabricating machinery and automated motion control systems. A minimum of 5 years' experience preferred as an industrial electrician/electronic technician.
Position requirements include long-term familiarity with 240v/480v 3-phase electricity, relay logic, CNC/PLC controls, analog/digital feedback systems, motion control, process control, proficiency with electrical schematics and the N. E. C. Strong mechanical skills are also necessary for the successful candidate.
The ideal candidate will have experience with programming and troubleshooting PLC ladder logic, troubleshooting and repair of industrial laser cutting systems, automated sheet steel material handling systems, conveyor systems, CNC/PLC controlled turret punches and hydraulic press brakes.
Diagnosis and repair of heavy industrial fabrication machinery and normal responsibilities associated with standard industrial electricians.
Compensation commensurate with experience.
