Job Description
- Perform hand sewing applications including stitching, hemming, finishing seams, attaching trims, and other detailed sewing tasks.
- Operate industrial or domestic sewing machines to assemble and finish garments or textile products.
- Construct garments or textile items according to patterns, specifications, or instructions.
- Repair, alter, and modify garments or fabric products as required.
- Attach buttons, zippers, hooks, trims, linings, and other components.
- Inspect finished items to ensure quality standards and accuracy of measurements.
- Measure, mark, and cut fabric when required.
- Press or steam garments to ensure a professional finish.
- Maintain sewing equipment and report any maintenance issues.
- Follow workplace safety guidelines and production procedures.
