Ingram Marine Group is hiring a Fleet Dispatcher in the Granite City, ILoffice. This position will report to the Fleet Dispatch Manager and is responsible for safely and efficiently designing and expediting tows, coordinating the movement of barges in the fleet, scheduling staff, and coordinating vessel refueling. Successful Dispatchers are detail oriented and have strong organizational, logistical, and analytical skills. They can evaluate situations, make decisions quickly and move on to the next item on the agenda. The ideal candidate works well across teams, is willing to learn and grow, and exercises good judgment.
What you'll be doing:
Coordinatingthe efficient movement of barges in and out of the fleets
Assisting with the management of fleeting operations
Collaboratingwith internal and external departments
Assisting in the management of fleet barge capacity
Handlingcustomer billing in FMS (Fleet Management Software)
Maintaining rigging inventories as necessary
Customer, vendor visits
Participatingin local harbor groups
Interfacingwith related government agencies as per IBCO policy and procedures
Updating and maintaining reports and systemsQualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred
Two years dispatching, customer service or vessel experience is desirable but not required
Strong organizational, logistical, and analytical skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Acute attention to detail
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
Ability to work flexible work hours to accommodate business needs
Highly organized and detailed oriented with the ability to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously
Schedule:
4 nights on, 4 nights off
12 hour shifts from 6PM to 6AM

Pay Range: $60,000 to $65,000 annually
