UL Verification Services Inc. (Northbrook, IL) has a position in Chicago, IL.
Senior Software Engineer - DUTIES: Analyze, develop and modify complex software programs. Support business leadership in the analysis of software and hardware system needs, options, risks, costs andimpact on business processes and goals. Analyze systems software, including preparing specifications, designing, coding, testing, debugging and documenting requirements. Implement complexrequirements for multiple platforms, operating systems, and applications. Resolve problems by devising or modifying procedures. Consider equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form ofdesired results when developing resolutions. Support the identification of system requirements by interviewing users, analyzing applications, evaluating existing and proposed systems, and recommendingsolutions. Independently analyze and isolate application issues and perform problem resolution. Monitor progress of software-based projects by tracking activity, resolving problems, publishing progressreports, and recommending actions. Improve systems performance by investigating problems, developing specifications, identifying trends in technology, and recommending solutions. Formulate anddefine specifications for software programming applications and modify existing applications. Leverage experience with full stack development, .Net, .Net Core, Microservices, Azure DevOps, Angular,React, Mongo DB, SQL Server and related technologies. 100% telecommuting allowed from anywhere in the U.S.
MINIUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems, or related and two (2) years of experience as a software developer, software engineer, or related. Musthave work experience in each of the following: 1) Angular and React; 2) .Net, .Net Core, and Microservices; 3) Azure DevOps; 4) MongoDB; 5) Full stack development; and 6) Microsoft SQL Server. 100%telecommuting allowed from anywhere in the U.S.
