Job Description
Tasks/Responsibilities
Same-day & next-day delivery of parcels and documents for DDS clients
Load, unload, prepare, and operate delivery vehicle.
Couriers may be delivering both same day and next day packages.
Couriers are responsible for obtaining a signature via a Mobile App or manually when they make a delivery to demonstrate that the intended party has received the item.
Constant communication with Dispatch/Office regarding delivered and undelivered packages/items.
Adhering to strict customer delivery times.
Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes.
Requirements
Experience preferred
Exceptional verbal communication skills
Complying with DDS Uniform guidelines
Ability to lift or move packages weighing up to 50 pounds
Be a team player!
Good driving record
Comfortable working outdoors
Clean Background Check
MVR (Driving Record) within the last 90 days
Ability to work under pressure
Possess a smart phone
Able to read a map
Valid driver’s license
Able to work under time constraints
Ability to work effectively as a member of team
Strong customer service skills
