+ GROOMER
POSITION DESCRIPTION: Shag Bark Pet Retreat & Spa has an immediate position open in our spa department. We are a well established full service pet care facility offering Lodging, Training, and Daycare in addition to our full service Grooming Spa. We are looking for a career minded individual to prosper and grow within this department. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:+ Deliver superior grooming services to spa clientele
+ Provide customer service to grooming clientele
+ Monitor inventory and order supplies
+ Support marketing and promotional ideas withing the department
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:+ Successful completion of a reputable grooming school curriculum or equivalent experience
+ Grooming salon experience
+ Excellent customer service skills
+ Possess excellent dog handling skills; from large to small, shy to boisterous, affectionate to difficult and everything in between
+ Must exhibit excellent leadership qualities; able to motivate and direct staff; demonstrate high level of maturity and initiative
+ Able to meet the demands of a physically and mentally challenging job
+ Must be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment
