Job Description

Gateway Truck & Refrigeration, a Carrier Refrigeration, Volvo, and Hino truck dealer with multiple locations in Illinois, Missouri and Wisconsin is in search of a Service Advisor (2nd shift) for our Wright City, MO location.

Duties include:

Professionally answer incoming calls and provide great customer service
Call for purchase orders as needed
Process adjustments and handle credit balances
Answer service inquiries & advise customers on status of repairs & delays as needed
Communicate with customers & employees via phone, email, mail or in person with courtesy & respect
Provide customers with estimated costs and repair time
Receive authorization from all customers before doing any and all repair work
Identify repair orders that require special issues (customer waiting, rush, comeback, etc.)
Maintain a good working relationship with shop foreman and service team for scheduling and status of repairs
Keep service manager informed on what is going on in your work environment
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
Computer literate (Microsoft Office & Windows based programs)
Excellent customer service skills
Strong written and oral communication skills including active listening skills
Excellent organizational skills
Must be detail oriented
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously & quickly adjust priorities
Ability to work with others in a team environment
Ability to handle stress under pressure
Experience in the automotive service or transportation industry (preferred)
