We are seeking a skilled individual to join our IT team as a Systems Engineer.
Job Responsibilities:
Specify, implement, and maintain physical and virtual servers, network infrastructure, and various software including server backups. Manage user accounts, including data access security. Basic Microsoft SQL administration: create servers, install and configure SQL, create and manage databases including backups and replication. Suggest and implement IT solutions to business and management challenges that will provide the most cost-effective and efficient use of resources. Recognize and implement opportunities to enhance security. Perform routine review and maintenance to ensure optimum resource performance and reliability. Analyze and resolve problems and provide technical support for the Help Desk, IT Department and users with varying levels of IT knowledge and competence.Job Responsibilities:
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Systems Engineering or relevant experience. 3+ years’ experience in a systems engineer role. Proficient with Microsoft Windows Server 2008 – 2016, Active Directory, Group Policy, NTFS, DHCP, DNS, Hyper-V 2008 2016, SAN Cluster Storage, Microsoft Storage Spaces Direct (S2D), Microsoft SQL Server 2008 – 2017, Backup & Disaster Recovery, PowerShell, LAN/WAN/Internet networking, Firewalls/Routers, Site-2-Site VPN, Remote VPN Access, IIS, WAN File Replication, and POP/SMTP Mail Server. Knowledge of SonicWALL and ArcServe preferred.EOE/Minorities/Females/Veterans/Disabled
