Job Description
We are seeking a full-time non-exempt Tier 1 Tower Technician to join our Infrastructure Team. The Tower Technician- Tier 1 position entails numerous manual labor tasks. This is the entry-level position for our Infrastructure department. In this position the Tower Technician Lead, according to individual job sites, will assign you tasks. Training will include best practices and safety standards. This position may require weekend and evening work to be performed.

Tower Tech Tier 1
Summary of Essential Job Functions
Climb towers up to 750ft Install/Maintain wireless Internet equipment and camera systems. Mount Internet equipment and relay data cables to each device. Install battery backups and grounding systems for equipment. Equipment preparation. Follow training protocols and safety briefings. Possesses and maintains a clean driving record in order to be added as a covered driver under the Company’s auto insurance policy.Desired Skills & Competencies
Must be able to climb comfortably up to 750ft while adhering to all safety procedures. Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions. Must demonstrate personal accountability in prioritization. Must be able to handle multiple interruptions and adjustments to priorities. Must demonstrate the ability to maintain a cooperative working relationship. Must demonstrate the desire to learn, supported with a love of technology. Must complete your tower training within 90 days of hire.Requirements
A high school diploma is required. A valid driver’s license is required, in accordance with state requirements.Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
Tasks are regularly performed with exposure to outdoor weather conditions. May work in high, precarious places. Must pass a background check, MVR check & drug screen.Physical Requirements: Light: Lifting 0-10 lbs. Moderate: Lifting 0-25 lbs. X- Heavy: Lifting 25+ lbs.
