We are seeking a full-time exempt Network Engineer Tier II for our Network Engineering Team.

In this role, you will be a contributor on the team of Network Engineers who are responsible for all network deployment projects, CAF network design, wireless access point and backhaul design, evaluation of all new wireless and GPON technologies, CPE standards, creating method of procedures (MOPS) for change management, capacity management of access points and network circuits, creating power standards, and maintaining the management network.

Summary of Essential Job Functions

Network design and planning with an emphasis on fixed wireless technologies Documentation of design projects Coordination with NOC for network deployment projects Site Design RF Analysis Method of Procedure for routine maintenance Working with peers to identify issues within the network Quickly diagnose, prioritize, and troubleshoot internal/external issues Comply with the Wisper Core Values Work with Network Engineering Manager to ensure the Engineering team is adhering to improving processes. Other related duties as directed

Requirements for Position

High School Diploma or equivalent Make customer satisfaction a priority 0-2 years of either wireless, networking, or GPON experience with an emphasis on design and planning Adaptable to fast-paced, high-change environment Organizational skills Be able to communicate effectively via phone, email, and message systems Must demonstrate personal accountability; be punctual for appointments and meetings Regular and predictable attendance required

Make customer satisfaction a priority with a focus on delivering sustained high service levels Strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking, excellent analytical ability Above average organizational skills Works well under pressure alongside different departments Ability to maintain confidential information GPON experience Wireless certifications Entry-level Networking certifications WISP experience preferred

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

Fast-paced, environment with multiple changes to schedules and fluctuating priorities Work is primarily performed indoors, at a desk Must pass a background check & drug screen
