POSITION SUMMARY

The Sr. Manager, eCommerce Marketing will have a proven track record of overseeing front and back end marketing activity across multiple retailer sites, including vtechkids.com, leapfrog.com, App Center and LeapFrog Academy. They will drive VTech and LeapFrog online merchandising programs, branded experiences and strategies across major retail eCommerce sites to help drive conversion. Ultimately, their activities will help drive traffic to various conversion points, furthering sales goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITES

Work with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive strategies and implementation plans to deliver excellent digital user experiences for prospective and current customers through web and email marketing.

Initiate projects with digital creative team for brand sites; applying learning and implications from prior campaigns and see all through to completion. Evaluate final creative concepts while providing clear and constructive feedback to deliver effective end creative.
Manage web and email executional team outputs, delivering on outlined plans.
Plan and populate home page, App Center and Email calendars in support of marketing priorities and promotions. Additionally, recommend frequent multi-variant testing dependent upon channel. (A/B testing of subject lines, click thru, time of send, & content. Creative versions, messaging, etc)
Strategize incremental App Center promotions based on key learnings from highest performing sales to help drive revenue goals.
Partner with Creative Development team to manage end-to-end enhanced content page creation and execution.
Manage the creation/building of all VTech & LeapFrog products across retailer Web sites.
Coordinate and track retailer reviews for publication on retail.com websites to support product sales via positive customer experiences.
Actively engage with retailer accounts and internal teams to develop innovative strategies that continually push VTech and LF to deliver best in class product detail pages.
Work with retailer partners to analyze their site performance, user experience/ customer journeys etc. and partner on recommendations to improve traffic and conversion based on scorecard results.
Manage workflow and timing for retailer product pages and ensure team performs regular retailer site audits to check for product information, images, brand and marketing messaging.
Work with the Copywriting team to produce retailer specific manufacturer titles and descriptions to drive SEO traffic & increase conversion.
Partner with Advertising Managers and Sales Leads on retailer promotions for inclusion in digital marketing channels to maximize impact of promotions and drive traffic to retailer sites via paid and organic advertising.
Partner with copy and social teams to ideate content marketing strategies focused on creating and distributing valuable, relevant, and consistent content to attract and retain our target audience and ultimately drive sales.
Recommend tagging strategies for all web properties as needed to maximize campaign data inputs and work with external partners to apply tagging to site pages, email campaigns and generate reports to measure the effectiveness of digital campaigns.
Own end-to-end LeapFrog email campaign support from setup, targeting and testing to deployment and leveraging data to make informed decisions, and driving overall campaign optimization and profitability.
Merchandise wins and opportunities to key stakeholders to facilitate partnerships and uncover new opportunities for collaboration to benefit the consumer and the business.
Support the Director of Digital Marketing on all digital-related projects inclusive of paid media, site, email and content strategies in partnership.
Allocates resources to meet plan objectives. Ensures the ongoing training and development of direct reports.
Ensure legal/COPPA compliance for all digital properties and data capture plans/sites.
Stay current with best practices, strategies and industry standards related to digital marketing.
Manage multiple projects with the ability to switch from one to another seamlessly, effectively prioritizing competing priorities and deadlines. Proactively identify and implement recommendations for new tools if needed.
Collaborate through communication and teamwork with co-workers, management, clients and others in a courteous, and professional manner.
Exercise sound business judgment.
Work independently and collaboratively and manage time effectively in order to meet changing deadlines and priorities.

POSITION SKILLS

Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools, Project Management tools like Smartsheets, ESPs, Google Analytics, e-Syndication tools and ability to learn technical systems and in-house tools quickly.
Strong planning and project management skills, experience coordinating cross-functional teams, delivering results and meeting tight deadlines.
Familiarity with planning, implementing and analyzing online marketing initiatives across multiple online channels.
Ability to manage high-profile projects with strong project management, time management and adaptability skills.
Experience managing people and supporting executional priorities.
Strong working knowledge of the retail channel and retail-specific marketing levers.
Understanding of user experience and user interface creative best practices.
Effective interpersonal skills to nurture good working relationships.
Exceptional communication skills while working with stakeholders at all levels in the company.
The ability to creatively resolve issues, understanding business constraints around resources, budgets, and timelines.
Sense of curiosity, and desire to ask questions and “think outside the box”.
High professional and ethical standards.
Working knowledge of landing page optimization.
Keep up to date with latest in the search engine and SEO industry to identify trends, new approaches, etc.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with Microsoft Office 365 preferred.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION

5-7 years of progressively responsible experience in the area of email marketing
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising or a related field; or any combination of experience and education that provides the necessary skills, knowledge and ability to perform essential functions of this role.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Duties are primarily performed in an office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Core hours will be set between employee and manager and will be based on business needs. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

TRAVEL

Travel is primarily local during the business day, although out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected 10% of the time.
