Job Description

Coilcraft, Inc. is a privately-held, global manufacturing organization with headquarters located in Cary, Illinois. Coilcraft operates in a wide range of industries; including telecommunications, computers, automotive, broadband communications, and consumer electronics. We are seeking a Machine Wirer to join our Machine Build department.

Job Responsibilities:

Mount electrical components and wiring of automated machinery
Modify, drill, assemble and wire control boxes
Solder PC boards and cable assemblies including high density connectors
Update and assist with machine documentation including BOMs and electrical drawings
Build electrical test fixtures.
And other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

1+ years wiring and soldering experience
Basic Windows PC Skills
Ability to read a tape measure
Ability to use wire crimping tools and hand tools all day
Good math skills
Ability to read blueprints and possibly create blueprints with guidance from technicians
CAD experience a plus
Attention to detail and good organizational skills a must
