We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our Aviation and Facilities team in our Warrenville, IL and Chicago, IL offices.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
+ Project Management role is in conjunction with lead engineer responsibilities.
+ Requires the ability to oversee the HVAC design of projects from concept to completion, including continuous interface with the design team and clients.
+ Proven design experience with comfort and HVAC systems and related controls
+ Proven design experience with plumbing systems including water, sewer, and gas
+ Experience producing engineering and energy studies including comcheck, Title 24
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills and critical thinking ability
+ Write responses to Requests for Proposals and Requests for Qualifications for various clients and marketing opportunities
+ Ability to work individually or in a multi-discipline team
+ Mentor and coordinate the work of designers and other technical staff on various mechanical or multi-discipline projects
+ Manage and deliver tasks under minimal supervision and guidance
Qualifications
Required
+ Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
+ Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.)
+ Ten or more years of related experience
+ Ideal candidates will have strong project management, written and communication skills, as well as the ability and passion to provide superior client service to a broad range of clients including higher education, industrial, municipalities, aviation, as well as mechanical/electrical contractors
+ Ability to work individually or in a multi-discipline team
+ Experience mentoring and coordinating the work of EITs, designers and other technical staff on various mechanical or multi-discipline projects
+ Able to manage and deliver tasks under minimal supervision and guidance
+ Experience in AutoCAD and Revit is a plus
